Our initial consultation with Ben showed his passion for fitness and the need for a dedicated home gym. Working within budget constraints and limited garden space, Ben was determined to create a workout area outside his family home. With his wife, three young boys, and a baby on the way, maximising living space within the house had become essential.

We designed a compact yet functional 4m x 3m garden gym to accommodate all his equipment, including a weight rack, treadmill, and bench press. The structure was built according to planning regulations, which restricted its height. Fortunately, this posed no significant challenge, as most of Ben’s equipment required minimal overhead clearance.

Since completion, Ben has enthusiastically shared that he “doesn’t know how he managed without it.” His new baby boy now enjoys a more spacious family home, thanks to the relocation of the fitness equipment to the garden gym.

Due to its modest size, this project was our quickest completion date. The gym fits seamlessly into Ben’s newly landscaped garden, and favourable weather conditions throughout construction were an added bonus.
