Early in the year, Amy and Rez approached Four Oaks Garden Rooms with a unique vision for their home. As parents to two young children, including a new-born, they sought a versatile space that would address their family’s evolving needs. Their primary goals were clear: create a quiet workspace for Rez to focus on his professional endeavours and design a dedicated area for Amy to pursue her fitness and reignite her passion for ballet.
Despite beginning the project during the colder months, our team remained undaunted. We swiftly mobilized, carefully establishing the foundation and quickly erecting the room’s shell to protect against winter’s challenges. The project did present some unexpected hurdles, particularly with moisture management. Condensation became a concern, but our experienced team promptly deployed air humidifiers and heaters to regulate the room’s environment, ensuring optimal conditions for completion.
The finished garden room emerged in a stunning Hardie green ‘Mountain sage’ – a colour rapidly becoming a signature choice among our clients. Nestled perfectly in the corner of their garden, the space not only met but exceeded the family’s expectations. Recognizing the potential for additional improvements, Amy and Rez also requested a play area and retaining wall, which we were delighted to incorporate.
This project was more than just a construction challenge; it was an opportunity for our team to refine our expertise in managing complex environmental conditions. The result was a flawless transformation that provided Amy and Rez with a multifunctional space tailored precisely to their family’s needs.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Amy and Rez for entrusting us with bringing their vision to life.
