Our Showroom

Our Showroom has been built to assure our customers of the standard and quality that we deliver for each and every build. The room has been built around the ‘Garden Office’ room setup, as this has proven to be the most popular. It has been built with accessibility in mind: the room is wheelchair-accessible, and can be opened up to the general public on a request for viewing.

Please get in touch via our Contact Page if you would like to see our showroom. We would love to show you around and answer any questions you might have.

Our Showroom is located in The Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

Why Buy A Four Oaks Garden Room?

We are a company that prides itself on our communication. Where other manufacturers may give you a set of options, we will first listen to our customers, drawing up a full specification of what exactly they want. Our focus is on listening to our clients first before offering predesigned options, as we do not want to limit the scope of our services. If you are struggling to find inspiration, or would like a creative mind to help you during the process, then our design team would be delighted to provide you with multiple options, as well as provide continuous advice to guide you throughout the project.

Many Garden Rooms on the market are prefabricated structures. This means that they are built in factories, stored in warehouses, and come with certain limitations. Designing for a specific site, and building directly on that same site means that your product will be built specifically for its purpose. In addition, it means that we are able to change certain aspects of the build as the project goes forward should you wish.

Four Oaks Garden Rooms are not subject to planning permission if they come under the category of a ‘permitted development’. This means that as long as the building falls within certain rules, it is fine to be built without notifying the council.

A few rules are:

  • A garden room must comply with the 2.5m maximum height requirements.

  • Garden rooms up to 15m2internal floor area must be installed 0.5m from any boundary.

Garden rooms over 15m2 internal floor area and up to 30m2 internal floor area must be  installed at least 1m from any boundary.

Garden rooms cannot exceed 50% of the overall garden size.

If planning permission is necessary for a building, then we will help to produce drawings and submit these (subject to planning costs) so that everything can be done legally and up-to-standard.

We have carried out extensive market research, and understand that obtaining a price is not straight-forward…we want to change this for our customers.

We are honest and to-the-point with our costing as we appreciate it takes time to find the right product to suit your budget. Unlike extensions and loft conversions, a garden room does not come with a potential for hidden issues that would warrant additional costs, and for this reason, what you are quoted is what you will pay.

We make sure our clients understand where each cost lies and we aim to work to meet any budget to the best of our ability. Your room will always be high-quality as we only use products and materials that we can guarantee will last.

If you have ever had a loft conversion, or an extension, or any large-scale building work on your property, you may have noticed that the final costs can be considerably higher than what was initially quoted.

Unlike traditional extensions, garden rooms are mostly built without needing to tie in to an existing building. This means that we do not generally come across unexpected issues over the process of building a garden room, and therefore can be far more confident of final prices matching our initial quotation.
